The Crusaders are a villainous biker gang from the Near Future chapter, The Outsider. They act as the main group of enemies fought during the chapter.
Background[]
The Near Future: The Outsider[]
Their leader used to be Lawless, who along with the rest of the biker gang opposed the military due to the new technology that they had acquired. Matsu eventually got into a fight with the head of police Tadashi Tadokoro, killing him and make him leave the gang. After this, not much is known about the gang, but they started working for the government soon after this.
The Crusaders now work for the government by kidnapping children and sending them to be liquified. This is done in order to awaken the Great Inko Statue. They also possess high technology robots to aid them in their dirty work, supposedly provided by the government. Akira Tadokoro, Lawless and Taroimo manage to finally get rid of the Crusaders by defeating Odeo and the government with the Steel Titan.
